Loughlin’s role comes just a few years after her highly publicized legal troubles.

She and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, made headlines in 2019 for paying over $500,000 to secure their daughters' admission to the University of Southern California as fake athletic recruits.

Loughlin pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges and served a two-month sentence in late 2020 while Giannulli served five months behind bars.

Reflecting on her past, Loughlin didn’t shy away from addressing the gravity of her actions.

“I made an awful decision,” she confessed after her sentencing.

“I went along with a plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in the college admissions process. In doing so, I ignored my intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass,” she added.

Lori Loughlin says her previous scandal 'weighs heavily on me'

Lori Loughlin also acknowledged the broader societal impact of her actions.

“I helped exacerbate existing inequalities in society, generally, and the higher education system, more specifically. That realization weighs heavily on me,” she said.

While the scandal resulted in both of her daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella, leaving USC, Loughlin has focused on redemption.

“I will do everything in my power to redeem myself and use this experience as a catalyst to do good and give back for the rest of my life,” she shared.

In the same interview, Loughlin expressed a deep sense of gratitude for the present.

“I think as you get older you just appreciate the small stuff and try not to overlook it,” she reflected.

Among her favorite simple pleasures, she listed, “just getting up and making a good cup of coffee,” “getting time to be with my girls,” and “watching a sunset.”

In a similar vein, another observer chimed in, "This actress has made a mockery out of Hallmark style movie markers who pretend to teach old fashion values. They are still employing her!! So she believes in morals and ethics NOW?? I doubt it... don't watch this elite rat or her employer's flicks."

Moreover, a viewer highlighted, "She looks pyssed to be in that cops uniform."

Adding to the conversation, a follower contributed, "I mean...did she really go for a role of a cop?"
