‘Lost all respect for him’: Internet slams ‘Star Wars’ actor Mark Hamill after he says Joe Biden is ‘exact president we need’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Star Wars' actor Mark Hamill recently expressed his gratitude to President Joe Biden on social media, week after his unexpected hour-long tour of the Oval Office.

Reflecting on his meeting with Biden, Hamill pointed out  the president's down-to-earth demeanor, the unique significance of visiting the Oval Office and how Joe Biden is the exact president people need.  

What did Mark Hawill say about Joe Biden? 

Following his recent visit to the Oval Office, 'Star Wars' actor Mark Hamil took to his X account to express his gratitude for President Joe Biden for his hospitality.

Recalling his experience with the POTUS, he wrote,  "We were expecting a 5-minute photo-op if we were lucky. Instead, @POTUS took almost a FULL HOUR to give us a detailed, comprehensive tour of the Oval Office & surrounding areas."

Hamill praised Biden's generosity, saying that "he was so generous with his time, telling stories about his childhood, his children, his early days in politics & the current issues he feels most passionate about to improve the lives of all Americans."

The 'Invincible' actor added, "He was everything you wanted him to be & MORE: personable, relatable & funny with the dignity, kindness & empathy that makes him the exact President we need at this point in time. Thank you @JoeBiden- it was an incredible day we'll never forget! #BidenHarris4MoreYears.”

The 72-year-old stated that he was "honored" to meet Biden and praised him for being the "most legislatively successful president in my lifetime." He added,  "It just shows you that just one person can be so influential and so positive in our lives."

Internet reacts to Mark Hawill's comments on Biden

Several social media users slamed Hawill for siding Biden, with a Yahoo user said, "The force is not strong with this one." 

Another user said, "Politics aside, Biden does not even know where he is most of the time."
