'Lost all respect for you': Chris Pratt faces backlash for not including ex-wife Anna Faris in his Mother's Day post

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chris Pratt, 44, found himself at the receiving end of internet criticism after he left his ex-wife Anna Farris from his Mother’s Day post.

On the occasion of the US Mother’s Day, the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor took to his Instagram to wish his mother Kathy, and his second wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34.

Shortly after he posted the tribute, Pratt’s fans quickly pointed out that he left his ex-wife and the mother of his first child from the Mother’s Day post, per Radar Online.

Chris Pratt misses out Anna Farris from his post

Pratt celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, by honoring his mother and wife by posting a carousel of pictures on his Instagram feed and writing a heartfelt note.

However, fans noticed that his tribute did not include a mention of his previous wife Anna Farris, who was married to the ‘Passengers’ star from 2009 to 2017. The former couple shares their 11-year-old son Jack. 

In his tribute, Pratt wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there!”

Mentioning his mother, the 44-year-old actor wrote, “Love to my Mom Kathy who set a high bar for her love, patience, humor, and joy in motherhood.”

He also wrote a sweet tribute to his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, with whom he shares two daughters - Lyla, three, and Eloise, 19 months, he wrote, “And a special thank you my darling Katherine for all you do.”

Pratt continued, “Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day.”

He noted, “The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace. It’s truly a marvel.”

Chris Pratt gets slammed for not including Ana Harris

The netizens aimed their guns at Chris Pratt as he didn't include the mother of his firstborn child. 

One of the social media users said, "What about your ex wife she's not included how said I lost all respect for you a long time ago."

Someone else asked, "What about your x wife Ana?" "And Ana? Don't deserve homage?" quizzed someone else.

Another fan argued, "But she's the mother to his child right? He can wish her happy mothers day."

A social media user asked, "Wait a minute (sic) where is Ana Farris?"

"He should post her for the child they share. She is raising him up properly👏," noted someone else.

Another fan referred to Will Smith's posting about his ex-wife, saying, "Will Smith shouted out his ex wife today. She’s still one of the mothers in his life and the mother of his literal firstborn child. It’s not weird at all to acknowledge her on Mother’s Day. It’s Mother’s Day, not wife’s day."

"Leaving her out deliberately each time is sort of a weird move tho," commented another fan.

Someone else noted, "This again shows how outdated, stubborn and resentful many people are. She is the mother of his child, and he is apparently grateful for that. So why not thank? Petty!!!"
