MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Donald Trump's oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, celebrated her father's 78th birthday with a series of nostalgic social media posts.

"Happy birthday Dad! @realDonaldTrump I love you today and every day!" Ivanka wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. She shared a photo of them walking side-by-side at the White House, capturing a moment from their time in the political spotlight.

Ivanka continued her tribute on Instagram, posting a collection of images that spanned various stages of their lives. Among the pictures was a portrait from her wedding, a snapshot of them working together in a boardroom, and a touching photo of them holding hands during her childhood. She also included a picture of them sharing a kiss on the cheek and a throwback image from Trump's 1997 profile in the New Yorker.

Ivanka, the second-oldest of Trump's five children, shares a close bond with her father. The former president's family includes Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump from his first marriage to the late Ivana Trump, Tiffany Trump from his second marriage to Marla Maples, and Barron with his current wife, former First Lady Melania Trump.

Eric's wife, Lara Trump, who serves as a co-chair of the Republican National Committee, also wished her father-in-law a happy birthday in her Instagram stories.

Tiffany joined in the celebrations, posting a picture of herself with her father from her November 2022 wedding to Michael Boulos at Mar-a-Lago, the family's resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Over the weekend, Trump addressed his birthday during a rally in Las Vegas. When the crowd began singing "Happy Birthday," Trump responded, "There's a certain point at which you don't want to hear 'Happy Birthday.' You just want to pretend the day doesn't exist."

If Trump wins the November election, he will become the oldest president at his inauguration, taking office at 78 years and 219 days, surpassing Joe Biden's record of 78 years and 61 days. Should Biden win re-election, he would extend his own record.
