WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, would not get anything of value from her father from now on, said a Trump family insider, according to Raw Story.

Mary Trump, the niece of the 45th President, asserted the claim, suggesting a rift between the well-known father-daughter pair following Donald's historic conviction in a criminal case on May 30th

The 12-member Manhattan jury unanimously found the real estate mogul guilty on all 34 counts for falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment to pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels in the waning days of his 2016 campaign, aimed at silencing her about their purported sexual encounter.

Neither Ivanka nor former First Lady Melania Trump accompanied the ex-POTUS to court on any day during the trial.

In an interview with CNN on Friday, May 31, Mary was asked about the picture her cousin Ivanka posted on social media after the guilty verdict against the MAGA spearhead.

For the first time, the former first daughter publicly expressed support for her convicted father through Instagram, posting a throwback photo from her childhood in which she sat on her father's lap. The post read, "I love you, dad," with a heart emoji.

Anchor Wolf Blitzer referenced the post and noted that Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, Melania, and Barron Trump were reportedly at Trump Tower on the day the verdict was delivered.

"I think that, like all of Donald's relationships, even his relationship with his children, is transactional, and that goes both ways," Mary said bluntly about the reports.

"I think Ivanka made it very clear that she doesn't get enough out of this relationship anymore. She's barely been heard from for months, she could not be bothered to show up at the trial, which is really when you would want to be supporting somebody, right? Not after it's over," the former president's niece continued.

"I think it's way too little too late, but that clearly is where they've landed in their relationship at this point," she added.

Ivanka, who was an integral part of her father's presidency as a senior advisor in his administration, had been away from the political spotlight even after Donald Trump started his third presidential bid for a second term.

In March, People Magazine reported that Ivanka would not be a part of the GOP presumptive nominee's 2024 campaign trail as she wanted to focus on her family.

In addition, Ivanka's name was also not on the Florida delegates list for the upcoming Republican National Convention.

Internet speculates Ivanka Trump does not need Donald Trump anymore

Responding to Mary's claims of Ivanka stepping away from her father, netizens tepidly speculated that the former first daughter had received enough from her father.

A user's aloof response read, "She got enough." Meanwhile, another asked, "Well after all those presidential ties, and the big money rolled in..who needs him, right?"

"Probably because she's already set," a user opined. Another one claimed, "She secured hundreds of millions and China trademarks the last time around."

Another person remarked, "As transactional as that family is she knows it’s played out."

"She made 640M when trump was potus and Jared got 2 billion. They got all they needed out of him. And just like that, they dumped him," someone else stated. [sic]

An individual added, "Because she and her husband have 2B and didn’t give her dad a dime."

Another user wrote, "She has a good share of ill-gotten wealth don’t think she needs trump anymore." [sic]
