LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Luke Combs calls a modest two-bedroom house home, despite his chart-topping hits. The 2,000-square-foot home he shares with his wife, Nicole and two children is actually smaller than many of his fans' homes, as per Taste of Country

On a recent episode of 'The MeatEater podcast', the 'Hurricane' singer opened up about why the cozy space works so well for his family.

The 'Forever After All' hitmaker embraced the simple lifestyle, highlighting the benefits of living in a smaller home, including the strong family bonds it helps nurture.

Luke Combs stresses benefits of living in smaller space

In an over-hour-long discussion on 'The MeatEater podcast', which premiered on April 7, Luke Combs covered a range of topics, but one conversation that caught attention online was about teaching children responsibility and humility, specifically at the timestamp of 1:05:53.

Combs, whose net worth is around $20 million, revealed, "We live in a 2000 square foot house, man it's two bedrooms. Me and my wife have a room and the boys share a room."

He emphasized the sense of togetherness that comes with living in a smaller space, saying, "We're always close together." Despite being one of country music's biggest stars, Combs made it clear that he values the benefits of a more modest living arrangement.

As the conversation continued, Combs further explained how living in a smaller space works for his family. "The living room is the playroom," he said. "And they play in there, I mean, we let them destroy it. But every night, it's like we're all cleaning up now."

He also spoke about teaching his young children responsibility, noting that his 1-and-a-half-year-old might pick up just a couple of blocks, while his 2-and-a-half-year-old can contribute more. "We make it a point, like, 'Hey man, you gotta help us with this stuff. You make a mess, you gotta clean it up,'" he said.

He added, "If he spills his milk, we give him a paper towel. He can't really do anything, just smears it around, and we go back behind him and actually clean it up. But he dabs the paper towel and it soaks up a little bit of it and he throws it in the garbage."

Later in the podcast, Combs reflected on how he plans to explain his superstardom to his children and discussed his love for hunting.
