Macklemore's home robbed with his three children inside as Nanny escapes after being held at knifepoint

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Macklemore’s Seattle home became the target of a terrifying break-in during the early morning hours of June 8.
The rapper, whose real name is Benjamin Haggerty, was not confirmed to be home during the robbery.
Macklemore's nanny says robbers yelled 'Where are the jewels, b***h?'
According to reports, his three children — Sloane, 10, Colette, 7, and Hugo, 3 — were inside the house along with a woman who confronted the intruders.
Officials confirmed that the children were safely rescued by authorities.
The nanny told police she was at home after putting the children to sleep when she saw two men entering through an unlocked patio door near the office.
She claimed the intruders sprayed her with bear mace and shouted, “Where are the jewels, b***h?” before forcing her upstairs to the master bedroom.

There, the suspects reportedly rummaged through drawers and closets full of clothing, jewelry, and shoes. According to the police report obtained by People, the responding officer found the nanny at a nearby residence in “obvious fear.”
Macklemore's nanny says she was thrown to the ground and held at knifepoint
In another police report they further stated that at one point during the incident, the nanny was thrown to the ground.
“She began to scream, so they got her up and pinned her against a wall, the shorter one holding her mouth shut,” the report said.
The nanny told police that she tried to kick one of the suspects in the groin but failed. She then bit his hand “hard,” which caused him to let go.
She managed to escape through a bathroom and out of the house, knocking on several doors before someone let her in to call the police.
Once officers arrived at the home, they noted “obvious signs of disarray” and were able to “safely extract” the three children. Family members soon arrived at the scene to take custody of the kids for the night.
Notably, Macklemore has been vocal in his support for Palestine both on his social media and on stage at his concerts.
