Madonna, 66, spotted with BF Akeem Morris, 28, in NYC weeks after reports of a low-key split emerged

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Madonna, 66, was recently spotted in New York City with her boyfriend, Akeem Morris, 28, adding further fuel to the speculation surrounding the status of their relationship.

The pop star and the young former soccer player were seen walking down the street together during their NYC outing. Madonna bundled up in a heavy sweater, miniskirt, sheer tights, and an oversized puffer jacket for the cold winter months, as per Daily Mail.

The 28-year-old, who was dressed entirely in white except for a black bomber jacket with an orange lining, walked side by side with the singer.

Madonna, who shared photos with her much younger man on Instagram for the first time after her quiet Fourth of July celebration, accessorized her outfit with wraparound sunglasses and a black and white ombre scarf.

At one point, Madonna used the scarf to keep warm by wrapping it around her head and her platinum blonde beach waves.

Morris appeared to be in a good mood he touched the middle of the superstar's back at one point. The latest NYC outing comes weeks after the Daily Mail claimed that the couple had quietly broken up in late October after only a few months of dating.

A source close to Madonna revealed in November, "Madonna ran into the same issue with this boytoy as she has with all of her recent men. The age difference became an issue. They come from different time periods. Madonna felt Akeem had a wandering eye because he did."

Moreover, Morris was visibly absent when Madonna and her 28-year-old daughter, Lourdes, hit the polls in New York City.

Madonna and Akeem Morris were first linked in 2022

Akeem Morris was first linked to the pop star in 2022 after he appeared on her Paper Magazine cover, according to People. However, the singer was apparently dating other men at the time. 

Morris and the 'Material Girl' singer became romantically involved during this summer, with Maddona sharing pictures of them cuddling on Instagram in July.

Then, in August, she posted a picture of herself with Morris sitting behind her, grinning, and apparently without a shirt on. The singer captioned the carousel, "Hot Fun in The Summer Time………🔥."

Morris also tagged along the Queen of Pop to Italy to celebrate her 66th birthday. They were spotted strolling through Portofino together, holding hands.

They even attended a football match together in London in September, as per Page Six. In October, they attended a Billie Eilish concert and celebrated Halloween together. 

The 28-year-old is from Spanish Town, Jamaica, and attended Stony Brook University, as per Elle Magazine. He even played for Oyster Bay United FC, a top soccer league.

Before Morris, Madonna dated 30-year-old boxing coach Joshua Popper in 2023, but the two called it quits in May of this year.

Before that, Madonna dated dancer Ahlamalik Williams, 30, for three years, according to People. They allegedly first crossed paths in 2015 when Williams danced on stage during her Rebel Heart tour. Despite spending Thanksgiving together in 2021, the two parted ways in April 2022.
