Madonna's son David Banda says it's 'fun to be young'
When asked about how he felt living on his own, David Banda said during an Instagram Live, as per The US Sun, “I love it. I’m not alone; I have my girlfriend with me. But I really enjoy it."
Despite the Queen of Pop’s £650 million fortune (around $850 million) and multiple properties worldwide, David said, "It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging. It’s fun to be young.”
To earn some extra money, David gives guitar lessons online. David launched his new venture following his success on Madonna's Celebration Tour – where he joined her every performance as a guitarist and dancer.
David also confirmed that Madonna is seeing someone new, following reports of her close relationship with Jamaican-born footballer Akeem Morris.
During the Instagram Live session, David stated, “Truth be told, she’s not single. She’s dating a guy . . . That’s her life. She’ll do what she wants to do.”
Meanwhile, David is happily in a relationship with model Maria Atuesta. He also loves watching the ITV2 series 'Love Island', hosted by Maya Jama.

Madonna and David share a deep bond, and she has often praised his determination, as per Hello magazine.
In a 2019 interview with British Vogue, she remarked, "What David has more than anything is focus and determination. I’m pretty sure he got that from me."
Discussing their relationship, she added, "He’s the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he understands me; he shares more of my DNA than any of my other children so far."
Madonna and her former husband, Guy Ritchie, adopted David from Malawi in 2006, when he was just one year old, though the adoption wasn’t officially finalized until May 2008, when he was two.
In response to the controversy surrounding David’s adoption, Madonna emphasized her commitment to maintaining a connection with his Malawian heritage.
Madonna has six children: Rocco, David, Mercy, Lourdes and twins Stella and Estere.
Her 27-year-old daughter Lourdes is from her relationship with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, while her 23-year-old son Rocco is from her second marriage to ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
She has previously discussed the challenges of motherhood, describing raising her six children as "the most difficult, the hardest battle" she has faced.
