Mariah Carey fuels romance rumors with Anderson .Paak after being spotted holding hands at dinner outing

ASPEN, COLORADO: Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak were spotted enjoying a dinner together in Aspen over the weekend and this has fuelled romance rumors, the Daily Mail reported.

Queen of Christmas Mariah, 55, and rapper Anderson, 38, are collaborating on a new musical project. Insiders have shared that the duo has been hitting up a recording studio in Aspen as of late for this reason.

Photographs obtained by TMZ showed Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak holding hands while entering the Catch Steak restaurant on Sunday evening, December 22.

According to the publication, the pair looked "super happy" together. Anderson reportedly helped hold the door open for Mariah and stayed close to her with one arm around her waist.

While they did show signs of being a couple, the two left separately after dinner, and insiders insisted that they were not dating.

Carey was wearing a brown tweed coat with fur lining, a matching tweed skirt, and dark-brown knee-high boots. Her hair was left open in loose waves. The 'Leave the Door Open' rapper wore a black corduroy puffer jacket with matching pants and a pair of Timberland boots.

Anderson has been open about his collaborations with Carey in the past. During the summer, he shared a video of him and Mariah at the Electric Lady Music Studios in New York, telling fans, "Oh my God Mariah Carey. Listen, you ever be star-struck, like when a star strikes you? That's what it was. But I couldn't just freeze up. We had to get into the studio and just make something."

Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak's previous relationships

Mariah Carey was involved in a long-term relationship with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka, according to the Daily Mail. However, the couple split up in 2023.

On the other hand, Anderson filed for divorce from Jae Lin in January, after being married for 10 years. She was Anderson's second wife, and the pair shares two children, Soul and Shine.

Anderson was first linked with Carey on Halloween this year when he shared a picture of them celebrating the holiday together on Instagram. He was dressed as a member of Daft Punk and Carey donned a pair of cat ears for the holiday.

Carey recently wrapped up her Christmas Time Tour before heading to Aspen. The tour celebrated the 30th anniversary of her holiday classic, 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.'
