WASHINGTON, DC: Former Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene has married conservative journalist Brian Glenn in a private ceremony in Las Vegas, marking a new chapter for one of the most prominent figures in the MAGA movement.

Greene shared the news on X on Wednesday, July 29, posting photographs from the ceremony alongside a brief message celebrating the occasion. "Last night, surrounded by our families, Brian Glenn and I said 'I do,'" she wrote.

The ceremony was attended by close family members, with the couple opting for a private celebration rather than a high-profile political event.

Relationship began on the campaign trail

Greene and Glenn first met during a rally for President Donald Trump in 2022, according to previous reports. At the time, both were still married to their respective spouses.

Following their divorces, the pair began dating about a year later and made their relationship public. Their romance quickly became a familiar feature of conservative political events, where Glenn regularly covered the Trump campaign as a correspondent for Real America's Voice.

The couple announced their engagement in December last year, with Greene celebrating the milestone by posting, "Happily Ever After."

Political careers intertwined with MAGA movement

Greene rose to national prominence after winning election to the House of Representatives in 2020, becoming one of Trump's most outspoken allies in Congress.

Throughout her tenure, she was a leading advocate of the "America First" agenda and frequently defended the former president's policies.

However, the relationship between Greene and Trump became increasingly strained after the president ordered Operation Midnight Hammer strikes against Iran.

Some Trump allies speculated that the rift stemmed from his decision not to support Greene for higher office in Georgia, though she repeatedly rejected that claim.

In the months that followed, Greene intensified her criticism of both Trump and Republican leadership, prompting the president to publicly threaten support for a primary challenger. She later announced her retirement from Congress, ending her time on Capitol Hill earlier this year.

Continuing influence outside Congress

Although no longer in office, Greene has remained active in national politics through media appearances and social media, often criticizing the administration's handling of the conflict with Iran while continuing to champion the "America First" movement.

Glenn, who became one of Trump's best-known White House correspondents during his time at 'Real America's Voice', also stepped back from that role after Greene left Congress.

Despite leaving elected office, the newly married couple remain influential voices within conservative political circles, with Greene continuing to weigh in on Republican strategy and warning that the GOP could face significant challenges in the upcoming midterm elections.
