Marjorie Taylor Greene shredded for defending Trump after he warned of bloodbath if he's not the president
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Marjorie Taylor Greene took to social media to defend Donald Trump after he made a sweeping claim that his defeat in the 2024 presidential elections will mean a "bloodbath for the country."
The former President made the eyebrow-raising claim while campaigning for GOP Senate candidate Bernie Moreno in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday, March 17. The remark made waves across social media who compared the warning to Trump's incendiary tweets ahead of the January 6 Capitol Riot.

The US Representative from Georgia retweeted a post containing a clip that shows Trump saying the words in context at the rally.
"Mexico has taken over a period of 30 years 34 per cent of the automobile manufacturing business in our country ... China now is building a couple of massive plans where they are going to build the cars in Mexico, and they think they are going to sell those cars in the United States, with no tax at the border," he tells the crowd.
"Let me tell something to China, if you're listening President Xi, ... those big monster car manufacturing plans that you are building in Mexico right now ... we are going to put a 100 per cent tariff on every single car that comes across ... if I get elected," he continues.
"Now, if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole... That's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country, that'll be the least of it. But they're not going to sell those cars here..."
In her tweet, Greene stated, "The Democrats and the media lie constantly about what Pres Trump says. They twist his phrases and sarcasm and tell the public he said something he did not."
"When Trump said there will be a bloodbath if Biden wins, he was talking about the auto industry and he’s RIGHT!" she claimed.

"Oh thanks for the clarification. Using the word 'bloodbath' in general totally wasn’t the issue," read a sarcastic comment. "Personally idc that he said it. But someone needs to tell you that your post doesn’t help. As usual."

"You can spin it all you want, but he said what he said. Trump wants violence if he loses again, and he has been stirring the pot to get it," stated a fifth.
