ROME, GEORGIA: Marjorie Taylor Greene is pushing back after right-wing firebrand Laura Loomer claimed the former congresswoman had packed up and “fled the country” for Costa Rica.

The latest scuffle kicked off Monday, May 11, after Loomer reposted one of Greene’s vacation photos and claimed that “sources” told her Greene had sold her home in Rome, Georgia, and moved to the Central American getaway spot.

Loomer had previously alleged in December that Greene bought a $5 million property in Costa Rica. The claim resurfaced again this week after Greene shared a breezy oceanfront snapshot online.

“We didn't move to Costa Rica, but if anybody can find the keys to my $5 million mansion, please let me know,” Greene told the Daily Mail on Monday.

Greene and her fiancé, former Real America’s Voice correspondent Brian Glenn, also confirmed they were on vacation.

Laura Loomer doubles down on Costa Rica claims

Loomer, however, wasn’t backing off. Speaking to the Daily Mail, she repeated her allegation that Greene purchased a multimillion-dollar property in Costa Rica in 2024 and sold her Georgia home earlier this year.

“So she's lying,” Loomer alleged.

The sparring escalated after Greene posted a photo Monday showing two coffee cups sitting on a balcony overlooking the ocean.

“I'm so thankful to start the next chapter with Brian Glenn,” Greene wrote.

Loomer quickly fired back on X.

“Looks like MTG has been planning her escape from America for a while,” she posted.

She also accused Greene of engaging in “insider trading” to help finance the alleged property purchase and claimed the former lawmaker had “abandoned her constituents and fled the country.”

No evidence was publicly presented alongside Loomer’s claims.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and Glenn enter a new chapter

Greene officially exited Congress earlier this year after announcing her departure in November, following a highly publicized split with President Donald Trump over the Epstein files and other disagreements.

Meanwhile, Glenn also appears to be stepping away from Washington. The Daily Mail reported last week that Glenn wrapped up his stint as Real America’s Voice’s White House correspondent on Friday.

The couple got engaged in mid-December, with Glenn previously splitting his time between Washington and northwest Georgia. Now, he appears ready to settle down in Greene’s home state full-time.

“I just want to slow everything down, and just kind of put my roots in Georgia,” Glenn said in a phone interview Thursday. “We're in the process of planning our wedding. Date to be determined.”

He also admitted he’s uncertain about what comes next professionally. “In terms of getting out of politics altogether, you know, I am taking a step back right now from all that. I don't know what the future holds as far as what I'm going to do for a living, or what I want to talk about,” he said.

“But right now it's just a healthy time for me to physically get out of this business, slow down life a little bit and focus on myself,” Glenn added.

In a lengthy X post, Glenn reflected on his years backing Trump’s movement. “I dedicated [my] life to supporting President Trump and his MAGA agenda and the Republican Party, even at times when it was difficult to stand alone amongst a hostile environment,” he wrote.

“The vast majority of my time was on the road, taking hundreds of flights a year and countless nights in hotel rooms, forcing me to spend far too much time away from those I love,” Glenn added, saying he was looking forward to the future "with the love of my life, MTG.”

Greene responded with a glowing tribute of her own.

“There is no one like Brian Glenn. I’m so looking forward to the next chapter of our lives and a future together,” she posted.
