WASHINGTON, DC: Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene’s MAGA-loving reporter boyfriend Brian Glenn is facing threats to his life following his Oval Office exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Real America’s Voice host said he’s facing “thousands of death threats” after questioning Zelensky’s wardrobe choices.

It all started last week when Zelensky made his way to the White House for serious high-stakes talks about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. But instead of focusing on the war devastating millions, Glenn took it upon himself to question why the Ukrainian leader wasn’t wearing a suit.

In a moment caught on camera by C-SPAN, Glenn grilled Zelensky like he was on trial for fashion crimes.

“Why don’t you wear a suit?” he demanded and continued, “You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?”

Brian Glenn tears into Volodymyr Zelensky’s outfit

On Monday, March 3, Brian Glenn doubled down on his gripe with Volodymyr Zelensky’s outfit, ranting on Real America’s Voice about the president’s signature military-style attire.

“Why does this man continue to go see heads of nations, get hundreds of billions of dollars, be in the highest offices around the world, and absolutely wear that silly little green jumpsuit, which you’re not currently in the war in that country?” Glenn scoffed, adding, “Why can’t you show some respect and dress up and be in the highest level?”

Glenn then insisted that Zelensky’s outfit wasn’t just a fashion statement—it was rather political. “Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover,” he mused. “And by him not showing respect… obviously, the wardrobe reflected his attitude, which we later found out about six and a half minutes after that question,” he said.

“So it was a reflection of his genuine disrespect he has for this country,” he added.

Brian Glenn faces backlash for shaming Volodymyr Zelensky

Social media erupted with backlash to Brian Glenn's suit-shaming of Volodymyr Zelensky, slamming him for fixating on fashion instead of the actual war. But Glenn insists that the real fallout hasn’t been online hate—it’s been death threats, per Daily Beast.

“The feedback that I have personally gotten from, I would consider, America First people, the base, has been huge. But I’ve received thousands of death threats,” he claimed.

According to him, it’s gotten so bad that law enforcement had to get involved. “I currently have a police unit at my house in Texas because they’re saying that they’re going to find me and harm me and things like that. So it has been a very serious issue,” Glenn revealed.

He reiterated the claims during an interview with BBC 'Newsnight'.

As the Ukrainian president arrived at the White House on Friday, President Donald Trump himself couldn’t help but throw some shade. “He’s all dressed up today,” Trump quipped to reporters, clearly referencing Zelensky’s attire.

Of course, Zelensky’s decision to wear military-style outfits isn’t new. Ever since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022, the Ukrainian leader has made a point of donning olive-green field uniforms as a show of solidarity with his troops.

Brian Glenn’s attempt at damage control

Feeling the backlash from Volodymyr Zelensky supporters, Brian Glenn tried to do some damage control on Saturday morning—but it didn’t go over so well. While he insisted he had “extreme empathy for the people of Ukraine,” he doubled down on his critique of Zelensky’s wardrobe choices, the New York Times reported.

“For him, once again, to enter the highest office in the most powerful nation in the world, dressed as he did, reflects his inner disrespect for not only our country, the President, and the US citizens that have made it possible for Ukraine to survive as long as they have to this point,” Glenn wrote on X.

And of course, his biggest cheerleader—Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene—was quick to jump in and praise him.

“I’m so proud of @brianglenntv for pointing out that Zelensky has so much disrespect for America that he can’t even wear a suit in the Oval Office when he comes to beg for money from our President,” she posted on X.
