WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative commentator Mark Levin praised President Donald Trump for his "insight and steady hand" after the president publicly defended him in an escalating feud with media personality Megyn Kelly.

The conversation on Trump's social media platform demonstrates that the president still holds significant influence in conservative media and that tensions are rising among prominent right-leaning figures.

Levin lauds Trump for supporting him

In a message responding to Trump’s support, Levin struck an emotional and grateful tone.

“Mr President: I am beyond humbled by your words and graciousness in writing such a beautiful note and sharing it on Truth Social. I am honored that you took the time to write it,' said Levin.

He went on to praise Trump’s leadership in broad terms.

“Your courage, strength, and moral clarity are truly unparalleled. And your leadership has made our country and the world much safer. Both you and what you are doing deserve our support. And I will not be intimidated or bow to threats.”

Levin’s response reflected his long-standing alignment with Trump and his agenda.

He also made it clear he would not back down amid criticism, “Through your insight and steady hand, America has been made great again. It is an enormous honor to know you as my family and I do and call you, Mr President, our friend. You're one of a kind. Truly remarkable.”

Levin closed his message with a note of personal concern for the president: “Please be safe and God bless.”

Trump steps into media feud

Trump jumped into a spat between Levin and Kelly, making it clear he supported Levin and even went out of his way to praise him publicly.

His comments stirred up an already tense situation in conservative media. People are noticing increased infighting, especially among big names.

Trump’s Truth Social post appeared to criticize Kelly, with whom he had previously feuded before they reconciled.

Trump’s post described Levin’s critics as “jealous and angry Human Beings, whose ‘sway’ is much less than the Public understands,” warning that those who “speak ill of Mark will quickly fall by the wayside.” “THEY ARE NOT MAGA, I AM,” Trump wrote, stating that the MAGA movement supports stopping Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Kelly emerged as a Trump supporter during his 2024 campaign, endorsing him as a “protector of women” and citing his stances against transgender rights and immigration. However, Kelly has repeatedly voiced her opposition to Trump’s war in Iran in recent weeks.
