LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mark Ruffalo recently spoke about the moment when he left actor Channing Tatum with a ruptured eardrum.

The 56-year-old actor appeared on 'Hot Ones’ on December 7, where he shared stories from the set of the 2014 movie ‘Foxcatcher’ with host Sean Evans.



 

Mark Ruffalo claims Channing Tatum asked him ‘to slap the s**t out of him’

Referring to Tatum, Ruffalo reportedly said, “He did ask me to slap the s**t out of him, and it was easy to do because he’d beaten the s**t out of me so many times.”

Joaquin Phoenix ‘turned’ Mark Ruffalo ‘on to vegan cuisine’

Ruffalo also recalled the time when he was the roommate of actor Joaquin Phoenix as they worked together on 2007’s ‘Reservation Road’.

He shared, as per The Hollywood Reporter, “He’s a great cook, and he turned me on to vegan cuisine and so he would cook all the time and he was a great roommate.”

“He was a roommate who would be out and you’d get a text [saying] ‘you need anything? Need me to pick up anything?’ The place is clean, all the dishes were washed, he’s got a great sense of humor,” Ruffalo added.

Meanwhile, the ‘Dark Waters’ actor’s presence on ‘Hot Ones’ was liked by his fans as one said, “I love when celebrities turn out to be down to earth, like normal people. They don’t take themselves too seriously and are just fun.”
