LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marlo Thomas, the 86-year-old actress known for playing the role as Jennifer Aniston’s mother on the hit sitcom 'Friends', recently shared her memories of the late Matthew Perry.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Marlo recalled her guest appearances on the show, highlighting Perry’s appreciative nature towards fellow actors.

Marlo Thomas's specific memory about Matthew Perry

Marlo Thomas, who played Rachel Green on the hit show, said, “I noticed how appreciative he was of the other actors." She vividly remembers her first scene, walking into the coffee shop and seeing Perry’s reaction.

“He was sitting on the sofa, and he looked at me in a generous way. I could tell that he liked what I was doing. He gave that vibe off,” Marlo said.

Marlo described Perry’s sweet smile as a silent communication of his approval, a memory that stands out to her amidst the kindness of the entire cast.

She said of Perry, "He had a very sweet smile on his face, and that said to me, ‘I like what you're doing.' And I remember that very much," adding "They were all very nice, but it's the one thing I remember specifically about him."

Maggie Wheeler, too, remembered Matthew Perry

Marlo isn’t alone in her fond recollections. Maggie Wheeler, who portrayed Chandler’s love interest Janice, also remembered Perry following his passing in October.

She expressed her feelings through a touching Instagram post, sharing a photo of the two on set and writing, “What a loss. The world will miss you Matthew Perry.”

Wheeler felt blessed by the creative moments they shared. "The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared," Wheeler wrote.

Later, she reflected on the tributes from the 'Friends' cast, acknowledging the deep impact of Matthew’s loss and the enduring love for his character, Chandler Bing.

Thousands of moments with Mathew Perrey 

Besides her, Courteney Cox who played Monica Geller as Matthew Perry's onscreen wife also remembered "thousands of moments" she wished to share. 

“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day,” she wrote alongside a clip from the comedy. 

“When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share,” she further said, adding “For now here’s one of my favorites.”

"But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story. In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind," she said.
