MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle has wrapped up filming her Netflix series, and "all went well," according to Hollywood insiders.

The project was shot in Montecito and is being produced by Sony Pictures Television's The Intellectual Property Corporation.

Meghan Markle's Netflix show to 'celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship'

Bringing royal admirers one step closer to learning about Meghan's lifestyle secrets, the 'Suits' alum's next project, which revolves around food and wellness, is still in the early stages of development.

The $100 million Netflix agreement that Meghan and Prince Harry have signed includes a show that will "celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship."

The show was recorded at a location two miles from Meghan and Harry's Montecito estate, where they reside with their daughter Lilibet and son Archie.

Michael Steed, who directed Anthony Bourdain's Emmy-winning 'Parts Unknown', is reportedly the director for Meghan's show. On the other hand, Leah Hariton, who oversaw Selena Gomez's HBO series 'Selena + Chef', is among the behind-the-camera staff.

According to the film permission obtained by Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex stepped into the culinary world with the help of Alex Dandino, the production manager of the aforementioned show.

Rumors were rife surrounding the impending project after Meghan was spotted taking part in what appeared to be a photoshoot in a park in Los Angeles on a TikTok video.

However, a Hollywood insider argued that it was unlikely to be tied to the new show since the crew had already "got everything" they needed.

"It all went well, and it is in the can," they told The Daily Beast, regarding the new project.

Neither Netflix nor Meghan's crew have disclosed the title or air date of the upcoming series.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's $100 million Netflix deal includes two new unscripted projects

The streaming behemoth has collaborated with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on two new non-fiction projects; the other is a polo-focused series.

Both shows fall under the agreement they signed with Netflix under their Archewell Productions company, as per the New York Post.

The duo signed a multi-year contract with Netflix in 2020, which will expire at the end of 2025.

In February, Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer of Netflix, opened up about the types of projects that Harry and Meghan are engaged in as part of their estimated $100 million contract.

She said, "They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Riegg, the head of unscripted shows at Netflix]. And they actually have like a bunch of development."

Bajaria added, "They have a movie in development; a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show, and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great."

The couple's previous Netflix project, a documentary series named 'Harry & Meghan', was an enormous smash when it debuted in December 2022. It provided an exclusive glimpse into Meghan and Harry's new life in warm California, where they relocated after giving up their royal duties in January 2020.

They also acted as the executive producers for the Netflix documentary series 'Live To Lead', which highlighted trailblazers like Bryan Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative, Greta Thunberg, Gloria Steinem, and former Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.
