Meghan Markle's Hollywood plans 'backfiring' while Prince Harry aims to avoid show business disaster
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle is still struggling to etch her name in the showbiz industry after reports emerged that the Duchess of Sussex is facing a few hurdles in her recent ventures.
According to a few insiders, the ‘Suits’ actress was left disappointed after her podcast network company delayed her series until 2025. As per RadarOnline, the postponement is perceived to be as a result of scheduling conflicts.
After facing opposition, insiders now disclose that the Duchess is feeling exasperated, while her husband, Prince Harry, is reportedly "mortified."
Meghan Markle has many things on her plate
According to an insider speaking to The National Enquirer via RadarOnline, Meghan Markle's simultaneous involvement in multiple ventures is reportedly backfiring.
The ‘Suits’ actress, who resides in Montecito, California, with her husband after stepping down from royal duties in January 2020, recently announced the launching of her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
A source shared with The National Enquirer, "She wants everything all at once, and it's backfiring on her again.”
On the contrary, the Duke of Sussex is purportedly feeling "mortified" by the resistance and is allegedly stating that he will not tolerate another show business disaster.
The Sussexes are also reportedly receiving criticism from various circles for their business venture.
The insider further commented, "Hollywood is glam and glitz on the outside, but the real stars have worked hard for their success.”
According to the report, this new venture will be crucial for Markle to win over her critics.
Another source said, "If the public doesn't like you, they won't get behind you, and no amount of money you throw at the problem will make it go away."
Meghan Markle joined with another company for her podcast
Recently, reports have surfaced indicating that the Duchess has partnered with Lemonada Media for her latest podcast deal in February.
Previously, the Sussexes' deal with Spotify was terminated after just one season. However, there were also speculations that the podcast's release has been postponed to 2025, as there were concerns that her newly launched lifestyle brand might overshadow the podcast.
According to the outlet, Markle had lined up a roster of "very high-profile guests" set to feature in her upcoming podcast.
The media group shared in a statement previously, “Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.”
They added, "Our plan [is] to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works."
