Meghan Markle wowed her fans during her brief visit to Nigeria. After revealing she is of Nigerian descent, the Duchess of Sussex went for a more vibrant look as she stepped out in Abuja at the Women in Leadership event. Instead of her usual muted tones, the ‘Suits’ star added a splash of color to her wardrobe. “I am so flattered and honored and inspired,” she said during the panel adding, “It’s been a crazy 24 hours since we got here, and I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more color so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion!”

Meghan Markle visited Abuja’s Lightway Academy with her husband Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex looked elegant in a blush Heidi Merrick maxi dress also known as the Windsor Gown. The sleeveless dress featured a high neckline and was cinched at the waist and the thigh. The dress also had a dramatic cutout in the back and reportedly retails at $1,350.

Meghan wore a stunning white Altuzarra pantsuit during a visit to the Defence Headquarters in Abuja. The Duchess looked stunning in a crisp white one-button blazer, teamed with bell-bottomed pants and a white top for a formal look. She accessorized with gold pumps, gold jewelry, and a flower corsage.

Meghan continued her trend of all-white ensembles when she stepped out in Abuja to attend the reception for the charity organization, Nigeria Unconquered, which works alongside the Invictus Games Foundation. Meghan chose to keep her look simple but elegant, pairing her St Agni column dress with a cross pendant. According to People, the cross pendant belonged to Princess Diana and was given to her by Harry.

Meghan added a splash of color to her look as she stepped out in Abuja and co-hosted the Women in Leadership event. She paired her red midi dress by Nigerian designer Orire, with a pair of nude heels by Aquazzura. The dress featured a simple silhouette that cascaded down to a dramatic ruffle at the hemline. The mom of two accessorized with gold jewelry.

5. Meghan goes for an easy breezy style in a floral dress

Meghan wore Johanna Oritz’s Summer Counts Dress, which retails for $1,995 and features a floral pattern and a halter neckline. Meghan wore a matching scarf draped over her shoulders. She accessorized with an oversized pair of Heidi Merrick sunglasses for the daytime event.

Inspiring sustainable fashion, Meghan rocked the same Carolina Herrera dress she wore when she announced her pregnancy with her daughter Lilibet back in 2021. The loose-fitting column dress was paired with a traditional Nigerian skirt, which she had been gifted during a visit to Lagos State Governor House on May 12.

Meghan rounded her trip with the traditional Nigerian skirt gifted to her during the trip. The duchess paired the blue striped wrap-around skirt with a Carolina Herrera blouse, gold Burberry pumps, and Heidi Merrick sunglasses.
