Meghan McCain teases Marjorie Taylor Greene as 'next co-host of The View' after leaving Congress
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Following the resignation of Republican Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene from Congress, after her bitter feud with President Donald Trump over the release of the Epstein files, the blogger and daughter of the late Arizona Senator, Meghan McCain, has predicted Greene’s future.
According to McCain, Greene could join the chat show ‘The View’ as a co-host.

On Saturday, November 22, McCain took to X (formerly Twitter) writing, “I knew she was going to be the next cohost of The View!”
McCain herself was a former host on the talk show between 2017 and 2021. During a 2024 interview with Page Six, McCain said there was "not a chance in hell" that the show's producer would ever ask her to return, suggesting that she wouldn't return even if they asked.
“I’ve had kids since then. I really like my life right now, and I feel like it’s taken me a long time to sort of get to a place where people are seeing me as more serious. I’m 39, I’ll be 40 in October, and there’s something about pushing 40,” she added.
McCain further said she didn't maintain contact with the "main co-hosts that [she] was with" after her tenure on the show, but added that she still had "friends that work on the show and people that [she] made relationships with."
Laura Loomer's tweet mirrors Meghan McCain's prediction
Some people got very angry with me for saying I wish Marjorie Traitor Greene the worst. They told me it was unbecoming.

I thought long and hard about this today, as some people I know told me to be better.
I’d like to take this moment to let everyone know that in retrospect,…
Conservative activist Laura Loomer also reflected on McCain’s remark, when she tweeted, “Some people got very angry with me for saying I wish Marjorie Traitor Greene the worst. They told me it was unbecoming."
"I thought long and hard about this today, as some people I know told me to be better."
"I’d like to take this moment to let everyone know that in retrospect, I agree. That being said, after consulting with Allah today, I decided I want to wish @mtgreenee the best in her future career as a CNN contributor and runner up for cohost of the View.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene resigns after feud with Trump
Greene, a vocal supporter of Trump, recently made headlines after she went against the president, criticizing him for not agreeing to release the files related to the convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Greene was one of the four Republicans who signed a petition to release the files to the public while supporting Epstein survivors. Last week, the president slammed Greene, calling her "wacky" and a "traitor," in a post on Truth Social.
He also vowed to back any Republican candidate who ran against Greene during the next midterm election in 2026.
Following the feud, on November 21, Greene announced her resignation through social media.
