MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Megyn Kelly, on the recent episode of her show, accused Don Lemon of being a participant in the Minnesota church disruption rather than a journalist. She claimed he knew about the plan to disrupt the service ahead of time and went inside on purpose.

According to the former Fox News host, Lemon was "in cahoots" with the organizers and used the chaos to get more followers and likes for his show.

Megyn Kelly says Don Lemon knew about protest plan

Megyn Kelly has asserted that Don Lemon was not just reporting the news of the January 18 protest. She pointed out that Lemon met with the leaders before the event and even kissed the organizer.

She said he knew the "clandestine operation" was going to happen inside the church. "He knew all about what the organizers were planning to do inside this church. He willfully entered the church knowing full well that the disruption was planned," Kelly claimed.

The conservative commentator also argued that a real reporter would have filmed from a distance instead of going inside to help cause a scene.

Kelly stated, “It's fine for someone to tell you that they're going to do something illegal and you as the reporter go there to film it from a place you're allowed to be and you don't take part in it.”

Megyn Kelly claims Don Lemon wanted more subscribers

Kelly claimed Lemon disrupted the church service because he wanted to grow his YouTube channel.

While people were trying to pray, Kelly claimed Lemon was busy asking his viewers for likes and subscriptions.

"He decided that he wanted to interfere with people's right to worship because it could really get him some good clicks," the conservative commentator stated.

She played a clip of him inside the church saying, "Support us in the church, like and subscribe, become a member."

Megyn Kelly blasts Don Lemon for ignoring the trauma of others

Finally, Kelly criticized Lemon for not caring about the people who were scared or hurt during the protest.

She noted that children were crying and one person even broke an arm, but Lemon said that "trauma is part of it."

Kelly was furious that Lemon seemed more worried about himself than the families he disturbed. "Trauma's part of the process... being disturbed is our First Amendment right to disturb you," Lemon said in the video.

The former Fox News host responded by saying that no one has a right to ruin a "holy moment" and that Lemon "brought this upon himself" now that he has been arrested.

The former CNN host was arrested on Thursday, January 29, in Los Angeles in connection with the anti-ICE protest. After a hearing in federal court on Friday afternoon, Lemon was released on his own recognizance, without bail.
