WASHINGTON, DC: A public feud erupted on X, on Thursday, March 12, after Ben Shapiro criticized fellow media personalities Megyn Kelly and Piers Morgan, prompting sharp responses from both.

The clash began after Shapiro addressed criticism surrounding his disagreements with figures on the political right, including Kelly and Tucker Carlson.

During his remarks, Shapiro rejected claims that his critiques were tied to Israel-related disputes and instead accused Kelly and Morgan of misrepresenting his arguments.

“Megyn is lying and so is Tucker,” Shapiro said while responding to a question about the controversy. He also dismissed Morgan’s program as “the Jerry Springer of politics” and said he had no desire to appear on it.

Megyn Kelly hits back with personal jab

Kelly quickly fired back at Shapiro on X with a pointed message mocking him.

“Poor little Ben, and I do mean little, desperate for me to protect him. Can you imagine being this emasculated? Sad,” she wrote.

Shapiro responded by referencing Kelly’s stance in an ongoing dispute involving Charlie Kirk and his widow, accusing Kelly of failing to defend her against allegations being levied by noted conspiracy theorist, Candace Owens.

“Don’t worry, Megyn. I’d never ask you to protect me,” Shapiro replied. “You won’t even protect Charlie Kirk’s widow from the monster accusing her of murdering Charlie.”

The exchange escalated further when Kelly posted a lengthy response defending her position.

She argued that avoiding public amplification of certain accusations was intended to protect the people involved rather than ignore the controversy.

Kelly also criticized how Shapiro handled the disagreement, saying he attacked her publicly instead of addressing the issue privately.

“You attacked me on stage at the Turning Point event without so much as a heads-up,” she wrote. “You didn’t have the guts to have a face-to-face talk or even a text or call about it.”

“You are the coward, Ben. And your moral preening, priggish lectures and holier-than-thou judgments are the reason you are losing fans and, more than that, friends, at a record rate,” Kelly added.

Piers Morgan joins the online clash

Morgan also entered the dispute, posting a brief reaction to Shapiro’s comments.

“He’s panicking,” Morgan wrote in response to the controversy.

'The Piers Morgan Uncensored' host later teased a response to Shapiro during an upcoming episode of his show.

“I’ll reply to Little Benji’s latest hissy-fit on tomorrow’s show,” Morgan wrote, adding that he had booked a guest who would “make him throw another toddler tantrum.”

Shapiro responded with a short, sharp retort.

In another post, Morgan wrote “Wow, the comments below this say it all. Grok says 90% are negative towards Little Benji! People see right through his pathetic ‘If you criticise the Israeli govt then you’re antisemitic!’ propaganda.”

Morgan also escalated the exchange by posting an edited image depicting Shapiro appearing significantly shorter than him.
