LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly criticized the recent town hall featuring Kamala Harris and Oprah Winfrey, describing it as a "disorganized display of propaganda."

On 'The Megyn Kelly Show', she expressed her disappointment, noting that her childhood admiration for Oprah has waned after witnessing the event.

Kelly stated, “Before I was a reporter, I never even thought to question whether Oprah might be intentionally misleading me. Then last night, the dawn came and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, she is not a reporter. She’s a propagandist trying to shove messaging down my throat of whatever she believes not what’s real.’”

Further criticizing Oprah Winfrey’s approach, Megyn Kelly speculated that the media mogul was out of touch with current events, suggesting, “Oprah is no longer in the business of staying up on the news. I bet she didn’t even watch the damn debate. She’s reading, undoubtedly, from blue cards her staff gave her.”

Kelly noted that Oprah’s interview style has changed dramatically since the days of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', where she used pre-prepared questions.

Kelly went further by commenting on Oprah’s physical transformation, suggesting that her recent weight loss has affected her ability to connect with audiences.

She lamented the loss of the vibrant presence she once had, saying, “I miss fat Oprah.” She concluded, “Now this thin Ozempic Oprah has lost—along with the pounds—her heart and her sense of authenticity.”

The town hall event included a lineup of celebrities such as Bryan Cranston, Chris Rock, and Jennifer Lopez, but it was overshadowed by Kelly’s sharp criticisms of Oprah’s role in the discussion.

Megyn Kelly slams Oprah Winfrey's journalistic integrity amid lighthearted town hall moments

In a lighthearted moment during the town hall event, Meryl Streep mistakenly referred to Kamala Harris as “President Harris,” to which the Vice President humorously replied, “47 days!”

Megyn Kelly specifically pointed out Oprah Winfrey's past interviews as instances of journalistic failures. She recalled Oprah’s interview following the controversial Michael Jackson documentary, criticizing how Oprah addressed the allegations against the late pop star.

“She did not raise any of those accusers' serious compromising facts when she had them right there,” Kelly highlighted. “As a journalist, you have to at least ask… might there be an incentive to lie?”

Kelly argued that Oprah's failure to challenge these claims during the interview reflected a lack of journalistic integrity. “My point is simply this: one accuser was very compromised, and she had him right after the documentary aired on HBO,” Kelly stated.
