Megyn Kelly says she’d run for president if AOC does: 'Absolutely disgusting'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Political commentator Megyn Kelly tore into Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the latest episode of 'The Megyn Kelly Show' on Thursday, after the congresswoman claimed Republicans were responsible for “radicalizing young men.”
Kelly’s fiery response escalated into an explicit tirade and even a half-serious threat to run for president herself if Ocasio-Cortez ever launched a campaign.

Megyn Kelly lashes out at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
“There was indeed one party that radicalized today’s young men, and it was yours, madam,” Kelly said during the broadcast. “It was yours. It was yours who blamed them for literally everything just because they were born and born male.”

The former Fox News anchor accused Ocasio-Cortez of hypocrisy and said Democrats were the ones responsible for demonizing young men, not Republicans. “Your side demonized them at every turn and laughed when they ever dared to express any actual pain at the circumstances that they were forced into through no fault of their own,” she continued.
“You are absolutely disgusting to now try to turn it around and say it is the Republican Party, which came to their rescue, that quote ‘radicalized them.’”

Megyn Kelly threatens to run for president
Megyn Kelly’s monologue turned personal as she accused Ocasio-Cortez of being out of touch with the very demographic she criticized. “You don’t know any young Republican men, I guarantee you right now,” she said. “That woman knows zero Republican men, because none of them would be seen with her.”

“F that woman! If she runs for president, I might run!” pic.twitter.com/gO4ABYztnu
The outspoken host then erupted, saying, “F**k that woman. If she runs for president, I might run… I’ll find my way into the ticket somehow. There’s no way this person can run for president or be president. No.”
Representatives for Ocasio-Cortez did not immediately respond to the comment.
Megyn Kelly attends Charlie Kirk’s posthumous Medal of Freedom ceremony
Later in the same episode, Megyn Kelly reflected on her trip to Washington, DC, where she attended the Medal of Freedom ceremony for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was posthumously honored following his assassination earlier this year.

“Obviously, it was bittersweet,” Kelly said. “Charlie, of course, didn’t receive this honor while still alive. We all thought there would be time. Everyone thought Charlie would have time to run for and become and be president, literally everybody I have spoken to believed that would happen and then you get your honors late in life. That is just generally how it works. But, amazingly, the award was appropriate.”
