WASHINGTON, DC: For the first few months of Donald Trump’s second term, Melania Trump basically pulled a disappearing act.

She was nowhere to be seen since her husband returned to the White House. The first lady practically ghosted the public, vanishing for weeks at a time while speculation swirled.

Melania even gave some foreign dignitaries the cold shoulder, often skipping out on usual first lady duties like greeting international leaders. But something’s changed, and it looks like she's slowly making her way back into the limelight.

Three dates in one week for Melania and Trump

Melania and Donald just broke their own record last week as they made three public appearances together.

On June 11, the Trumps stepped out for a rare date night at the opening of 'Les Miserables' at the Kennedy Center. Melania didn’t say much at the red carpet, other than grinning from ear to ear while Donald spoke to reporters about the LA protests, tariffs, and his dream military parade.

Despite reports that several cast members boycotted the performance over Trump’s attendance, the couple still took their seats for the show and got a mixed response from the crowd.

But unlike a lot of their other outings where they split shortly after the engagement is over, Melania didn’t vanish this time.

The next day, on June 12, Melania was front and center again, standing right beside Trump on the White House balcony during the Congressional Picnic held on the South Lawn. Trump even gave his doting wife a shoutout, thanking "our wonderful first lady" for putting the event together and joking that she might just take over his job one day.

On June 14, Melania showed up yet again for a military parade celebrating the 250th anniversary of the US Army, which happened to fall on Trump’s 79th birthday.

Trump had been pining for a military parade ever since his first term. He finally got it, and Melania was right there beside him as he watched it all unfold.

The $45 million extravaganza went ahead despite dicey weather conditions, with Trump hyping it up beforehand as a “big day.”

MAGA tension over Trump’s foreign policy

But Melania’s surprise re-entry into the spotlight comes at a time of chaos for the Republican Party. The MAGA movement currently appears to be eating its own over the escalating situation between Israel and Iran, and Trump is caught in the middle.

While Vice President JD Vance has publicly rushed to defend Trump, others are far from convinced. Trump is reportedly considering a US strike on Tehran following several days of intense missile attacks between Israel and Iran — and not everyone in his camp is thrilled.

Rich Baris, the director of Big Data Poll, put out a warning for Trump on social media. “Starting new foreign wars never helps a presidency,” Baris posted on X. “But it sure as Hell can end one, especially one predicated on not starting new wars overseas when we've been invaded and neglected at home.”

He continued, “The MAGA movement was never anti-war for the sake of being anti-war. It was a position stemming from the lies the ruling class used to get us involved in pointless wars. Israel needing to attack Iran ‘preemptively’ because nuclear capabilities are imminent, is a lie.”

“Kiss the Republican majority goodbye... For the next decade. If he pulls the trigger, it's all over for MAGA," Baris added.
