WASHINGTON, DC: First Lady Melania Trump has stepped into generative media in a bold way. On Wednesday, she posted a video of an AI-generated version of herself, calling it her “official AI body double,” with the caption “Into The Future.”

The video, linked to her $MELANIA cryptocurrency brand, reignites long-standing speculation that she has used physical body doubles in public appearances.

In the AI clip, a figure resembling Melania appears to materialize inside Trump Tower from a pixelated cloud before posing, creating a surreal, synthetic version of the First Lady.

The post comes amid a broader embrace of artificial intelligence by the Trump family, though Melania previously cautioned about AI’s potential risks.

AI body double video posted via $MELANIA account

The video was shared via the official account tied to Melania Trump’s cryptocurrency venture, $MELANIA, launched earlier in 2025.

The clip shows a stylized, synthetic Melania emerging inside a rendering of Trump Tower, reinforcing a futuristic image connected to her personal brand.

Although framed as a forward-looking artistic gesture, the release cannot be separated from decades of rumors that Melania Trump has used doubles, especially when public appearances drew scrutiny.

Body double rumors return amid AI debut

Speculation about a “Fake Melania” has circulated since the first Trump administration.

Observers noted subtle differences in facial features, mannerisms, or behavior during public events to support the theory.

Rumors resurfaced during the 2024 campaign and again during a UK state visit when Melania Trump’s behavior and hand-holding with Donald Trump fueled online chatter about a double.

The AI double release adds a modern twist, combining old speculation with synthetic media technology.

Trump family’s broader AI use and Melania’s earlier warnings

The Trump family has been active in AI and synthetic content realms.

Donald Trump has posted AI-altered videos of political opponents and archival footage, often sparking controversy.

Ironically, Melania Trump previously voiced concern over AI’s potential harms. During a White House AI task force meeting, she compared AI oversight to raising children, emphasizing careful management.

What it might mean for Melania’s public image

By releasing the AI video, Melania Trump blends personal branding, tech engagement, and mystique around her identity.

The move may enhance her control over her image in a world of deepfakes and synthetic media.

It also invites renewed scrutiny: is the AI version a sign of distancing from public appearances or a creative statement on digital identity?

As AI tools become mainstream, public figures experimenting with synthetic doubles face both fascination and controversy.

For Melania Trump, this AI body double video is likely the latest chapter in her complex public narrative.
