Melania Trump to get new Amazon Prime project despite lukewarm response to previous documentary
WASHINGTON, DC: First lady Melania Trump is getting another major Amazon Prime project after senior adviser Marc Beckman announced a new docuseries about her on Tuesday, August 4.
The series will follow Amazon MGM Studios’ documentary 'Melania,' released earlier this year, and promises a much deeper look into her personal life, marriage, family, and work during President Donald Trump's second administration.
Beckman revealed the project during an on-air conversation with 'Real America’s Voice' host Eric Bolling, saying the upcoming series will be a completely different experience from the earlier documentary.

Melania Trump docuseries expands beyond Amazon documentary
According to Beckman, the new series is not simply an extension of the documentary but a fresh project with a broader scope.
“This fall, we are following the film with a docuseries surrounding the first lady, surrounding Melania Trump. It’s a completely different look at her world” than Melania, he said.
The earlier documentary, directed by Brett Ratner, was released on January 30. Beckman said the film captured only a small window into the first lady's life.
“You might remember, if you saw the film Melania, we only captured 20 days of the first lady’s life,” he explained.
He added that the documentary offered a limited glimpse into “her private life, her marriage, her family,” while also touching on her career and philanthropy.
Amazon series explores Melania Trump's private world
Beckman said the upcoming docuseries is designed to show a side of the first lady that audiences have not previously seen.
“It gives the viewers a little bit of a peek as to what happens right at the beginning of the new 47th presidential administration” of President Donald Trump, he said.
He stressed that the series has a different visual style and storytelling approach from the documentary.
“It’s shot different. It’s a different story. It’s a full new experience for the viewers,” Beckman said.
Calling Melania “the most consequential first lady in history,” he argued that the project would highlight her work ethic and the standards she brings to her public role.
The series will showcase “her work ethic, that high level, that standard of being impactful,” he added.
Melania Trump docuseries debuts this fall
Beckman said the series will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime this fall and encouraged viewers to tune in because it would reveal “a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”
The announcement comes months after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos addressed questions about the earlier documentary during a CNBC interview in May.
Bezos defended the film's reported $75 million price tag, calling it “a good business decision.”
He also rejected suggestions that he had personally arranged the project or that it was intended to gain favor with President Trump.
