Melania Trump wins over Americans as poll reveals she’s a ‘good influence’ on her husband Donald

WASHINGTON, DC: First Lady Melania Trump is back—and America is paying attention.
A new Daily Mail poll has revealed that a majority of Americans see the model-turned-first lady as a "good influence" on her husband, President Donald Trump.

When it comes to public opinion, Melania is still holding her own as one of the most admired figures in Trump’s orbit.
The poll, conducted with JL Partners, gave Melania high marks with words like “beautiful,” “classy,” and “elegant” being used to describe her.
After spending some time away from politics, Melania made a splash last week by re-launching her 'Be Best' initiative and showing up at President Trump’s speech to Congress.
She was all smiles as she traveled from the White House to Capitol Hill with her husband, watching proudly from her seat in the House chamber as he delivered his remarks.
She wasn’t just a one-night wonder either—Melania also made an appearance at a formal White House dinner for the nation’s governors, where Trump himself showered her with praise.
Americans say Melania is keeping Trump in check
Turns out, America thinks that Melania Trump’s influence on Donald Trump is a net positive. The poll found that 40% of respondents believe the first lady is a good influence on the president. So while the world watches Trump’s every move, many believe Melania is one of the few people who can actually rein him in.
Her approval ratings are still rock solid. According to the poll, 47% of Americans approve of the job she’s doing, while 38% disapprove—numbers that suggest Melania’s star power hasn’t dimmed one bit.
The survey—conducted from March 5 to 7 among 1,019 registered voters—has a margin of error of 3.4%. But it is clear that Melania still has a loyal following.

Before her return to Washington, Melania had been keeping a lower profile in New York. She spent most of the first month of her second first lady era in the big apple considering her son, Barron Trump, is now a freshman at NYU.
But Melania has had plenty on her plate, from wrapping up filming for her upcoming Amazon documentary (which is set to drop this fall) to handling her own cryptocurrency business.
Melania takes on AI deepfakes and calls out Democrats
Melania Trump was back in the Capitol last week to relaunch her Be Best campaign, marking her first solo event since reclaiming her first lady title.
This time, she had a clear mission: supporting the "TAKE IT DOWN" Act, a legislative push aimed at protecting Americans from revenge pornography and AI-generated deepfake content.
She wasn’t just there for the photo ops—Melania delivered a pointed speech, calling out Democrats for not showing up in force for the cause.
"I expected to see more Democrat leaders with us here today to address this serious issue. Surely, as adults, we can prioritize America's children ahead of partisan politics," she declared.
It was a rare moment of candor from the normally reserved first lady.

Easter, garden tours, and a royal invitation
Next up on Melania Trump's agenda is the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, which is officially set for April 21. Meanwhile, the Spring Garden Tours will kick off on April 5.
What's more? Melania’s also heading back to the UK with Trump for a royal state visit.
The King extended the invite—something that few US presidents get twice. Trump first visited the UK during his first term when Queen Elizabeth II was still on the throne, but now he’ll be returning under the reign of King Charles III.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer hand-delivered the invitation straight to Trump during an Oval Office meeting earlier this month. The president graciously accepted the invitation, dramatically waving the letter in front of cameras before giving his answer.
"The answer is yes," Trump announced. "On behalf of our wonderful First Lady Melania and myself, the answer is yes, and we look forward to being there and honoring the King and honoring, really, your country. Your country is a fantastic country, and it'll be our honor to be there."
