DAYTONA, FLORIDA: Melania Trump has not made many public appearances since her husband Donald Trump's Inauguration Day in January, when she formally became the First Lady of the United States again.
Meanwhile, her husband Donald Trump has been heavily visible at events outside the White House in Washington, DC, since taking office as the 47th president in January. Melania served as first lady from 2017 to 2021, and Trump served as the 45th president of the United States for his first term, according to Palm Beach Post.

Melania Trump remains MIA from Daytona 500
First Lady Melania Trump did not attend the 67th annual Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, or Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans with her husband Donald Trump, and the Trump family.
Melania, who has previously attended the Daytona 500, did not accompany her president husband to the iconic NASCAR race on Sunday, February 16, which has caused several individuals to take notice.
Trump made an ostentatious entrance by flying Air Force One over the Daytona International Speedway in Florida before attending 'The Great American Race'. However, his wife was not present as he stepped out of the aircraft.
However, it is important to note that she accompanied Trump to the 2020 Daytona 500, where he served as Grand Marshall while in office, per Irish Star.

Intriguingly, despite Melania's absence from the Daytona 500, Trump approved a presidential message from both of them.
"Today, I look forward to joining tens of thousands of American Patriots in Daytona Beach, Florida, for the “Great American Race”—the legendary Daytona 500—and the official start to the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series," Trump shared.
"Melania and I send our best wishes for a safe and successful race. May God bless our Armed Forces, and may He continue to bless the United States of America," the message read in part.

Melania was present at the Inauguration Day events in the week of January 20, which was also the federal holiday known as Dr Martin Luther King Jr Day.
These include the White House during the Trump family's candlelight dinner, a fireworks display featuring the Trump family and friends, the "eve of Inauguration Day" victory rally, the swearing-in at the Capitol, and three inauguration balls.
Despite attending multiple "Inauguration Day" events, Melania did not provide any information about the celebrations on her social media accounts.
