WASHINGTON, DC: First Lady Melania Trump's notable absence from public life has netizens across social media asking about her whereabouts, as per the Daily Beast

This comes as her husband Donald Trump makes himself increasingly visible to the public amid his second term in the White House. On Sunday, February 9, he made history by becoming the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, as he witnessed the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Melania Trump's last public appearance

Melania Trump was last seen in public beside Donald Trump on January 24 when the first couple visited the Hurricane Helene disaster site in North Carolina.

They also dropped by California to survey the devastation caused by wildfires and met Governor Gavin Newsom on the same day. During the meeting, Newsom extended a friendly greeting to Melania and reportedly kissed her on the cheek.

However, Melania has since disappeared from the public eye. During Super Bowl LIX, the president was accompanied by two of his children, Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump. Ivanka's eight-year-old son, Theodore, also joined them in a VIP suite.

Even high-profile events at the White House were not graced by the 54-year-old former model, such as Trump signing the first legislation of his second term, the Laken Riley Act, on January 29.

The commander-in-chief also hosted world leaders such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, and King Abdullah of Jordan all by himself at the White House over the last few days.

Melania also reportedly skipped a special dinner for Republican senators and their spouses held at Mar-a-Lago on Friday.

Her social media platforms remain awaiting an update as well. While the account for FLOTUS on X (formerly Twitter) last shared a tribute to the victims of an aircraft crash in Washington on January 29, the one on Instagram only bears her official portrait for the second term.

Internet inquires about Melania Trump's whereabouts

Netizens have taken to X to voice their concern for the first lady as she continues to remain absent from key public events.

"Trump needs help. Where is Melania?" one asked and another inquired, "WHERE IS #Melania lately? #LongTimeNoSee."

"Had the Super Bowl been in a Northern State Trump wouldn't have attended. BTW Where is Melania?" one more wondered, with someone else adding, "Melania Trump's Super Bowl absence - where is first lady?"

"Where is Melania Trump??!!!!" echoed an individual.
