Melanie Griffith shares mom Tippi Hedren is ‘always up for party’ as she celebrates her 94th birthday
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tippi Hedren, the legendary actress and animal rights activist, turned 94 on Friday, 19 January and celebrated with her family and friends.
Her daughter, Melanie Griffith, posted some adorable photos of her mom on Instagram, showing her love and admiration for the star of 'The Birds and Marnie.'

Griffith, 66, shared two pictures of Hedren, one with a bright pink lipstick and another with a fun pair of glasses that read “CAKE TIME!”
She also wrote a sweet caption, calling her mom “MorMor” and wishing her a happy birthday.
“Yesterday Mom aka MorMor turned 94!! Always up for a party! 🎉 💫✨💃🏼 Happy Birthday Mama ♥️ Tippi,” Griffith wrote.

Hedren, who was discovered by Alfred Hitchcock in 1961, told People before her birthday that she was looking forward to spending her special day with her family.
Which included her four grandchildren Jesse Johnson, Alexander Bauer, Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas.
“It may not be exciting to the rest of the world, but as a mother and grandmother, it’s the perfect way to celebrate,” she said.
Hedren has a close bond with her daughter Griffith, who is also an actress and a Golden Globe winner. They have worked together in several films, such as 'Roar,' 'Pacific Heights' and 'Lolita.'
Tippi Hedren’s timeless beauty
Hedren, who was born in 1930, has been praised for her beauty and grace throughout her career.
In 2016, Griffith dedicated her timeless beauty award at the Hollywood Beauty Awards to her mom, calling her “the timeless beauty.”
"Really, I would like to say that this should be for my mom, who’s right there,” Griffith said. “She is the timeless beauty. So mom, I’m going to take this on your behalf. I love you.”
Hedren, who wrote a memoir titled Tippi in 2016, has also been admired for her courage and compassion.
She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights, founding the Roar Foundation and the Shambala Preserve, a sanctuary for rescued exotic animals.
