The billionaire sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring over the weekend. However, a spokesperson spoke exclusively to Page Six to refute the speculations.

Melinda and Jon were first linked in April 2022 when they were seen attending a Brooklyn Nets basketball game together.
Melinda Gates and Bill Gates split in 2021
Earlier, Melinda was married to Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, from 1994 to 2021. They share three children, Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe.
In May 2021, the couple issued a joint statement, noting, "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage."
"Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives," shared the ex-couple.
They added, "We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life."
Melinda Gates has been hopeful about finding love again
In a March 2022 interview with Gayle King, Melinda expressed her desire to find love again.
The 59-year-old said, "I hope that happens for me again. I’m dipping my toe in that water a little bit," before adding that the "water" is "interesting, at this point," as per PEOPLE Magazine.
About the divorce, she expressed, "I had a lot of tears for many days — days where I'm literally laying on the floor, the carpet this close to me, thinking, 'How can this be? How can I get up? How am I gonna move forward?' Days where I certainly was angry; this is painful stuff."
"At the end of the day, though, I started on this journey of healing, and I feel like I'm starting to get to the other side. And I do feel like I'm turning a page in the chapter now," further expressed Melinda.
