'Meri and I weren't healthy then': Kody Brown has zero regrets on having only one child with Meri Brown
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: Kody Brown talked about his relationship with Meri Brown on Sunday’s ‘Sister Wives: Look Back' special.
The patriarch has more than one child with Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Robyn Brown, unlike Meri, with whom Kody shares 25-year-old Leon Brown.
“It just freaks me out to go through that again. I want to have another baby. I would love that," Meri said in the flashback with Kody on the same page as she struggled with fertility issues and Kody tried over the years to have subsequent children.
The clip was from a 2012 episode showing Meri expressing hesitance at the idea of another round of IVF. Kody added, "When we're dying when we're 110, we'll look back and we'll be glad we did the IVF."

Kody's perception of the situation has now changed. "During that time, it was more realization that our marriage is not really healthy," he said.
"Retrospectively, I’m really glad we didn’t have more children. "It wouldn’t have been good for the child because Meri and I weren't healthy then," Kody reiterated.
Meri also felt the same about it as she said, "I really wanted to have more than just one." It took the couple five years to finally conceive and welcome Leon. As per Meri, "Kody and I were in a slightly tumultuous time."
How many children does Kody Brown have?
Janelle and Kody have most children together comparatively, Savanah, 18, Gabriel, Garrison, 24, Hunter, 25, Maddie, 27, and Logan, 28.
He shared Truely, 12, Ysabel, 19, Gwendlyn, 21, Paedon, 24, Mykelti, 26, and Aspyn, 27 with Christine. Kody and Robyn are parents to Ariella, six, Solomon, 11, Breanna, 18, Aurora, 20, and Dayton, 22, with the father adopting the older three when Robyn entered the plural marriage. Now, Kody is only married to Robyn, after the other three left him between November 2021 and January 23.
Meanwhile, Meri Brown has accused her ex-husband that he never loved any of his sister wives except Robyn Brown, reports People.
"I don't know what to think and feel when Kody sits there and says, 'Oh, I'm so in love with all my wives, I'm also in love with Robyn'," she said in a confessional.
She asked, "Were you lying then or were you lying now?" In the past couple of years, Kody has been vocal about not loving any of his sister's wives the way he loved Robyn.
To which Kody said, "Hey' I'm in love. It wasn't just like what it was with Robyn." Robyn does not believe Kody's claims and says, "I think he did love each of us." She added "I personally think he was just trying to make up for his narrative to justify where he is now."
