Tim Carter, a friend of Mica Miller, recalled a conversation he had with Mica’s husband, John-Paul Miller, several years ago.

Carter stated that John-Paul Miller informed him that Mica Miller had bought a gun and was in the backyard, prompting him to wonder if she intended to use it against him.

In response, Carter conveyed uncertainty about the circumstances in the household that would lead to such suspicion.

However, he questioned why such a thought would arise if there were no underlying issues within the couple's relationship. Carter claimed, “He was scared, he was wondering, ‘Do you think she bought it to shoot me?' Why would that be a question if he wasn’t mistreating her?”
