LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Michael Buble has opened up on his near-death experience that he came across while attending a party of an actor in Canada.

The 48-year-old singer shared the tale today, January 16, on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show,' describing his encounter with the uncommon yet "aggressive" animals in Canada.

The incident occurred following a party he attended with actor Barry Pepper.

“I think, at the moment, we’re like, ‘You know what we should do? We should like race down the beach.’ And so me and him and another guy came running down this beach, and a guy that lived there just started swearing,” Buble shared according to People Magazine

“[He was] literally swearing at us and just screaming — I mean screaming bloody murder,” he continued.

Why was the man screaming at Buble?

Buble mentioned that they were oblivious to the situation at that moment, but the man had actually been attempting to caution them about staying away from the creatures that were relaxing along the beach.

“We didn’t realize, we were running to our certain death,” the singer said. “Because there were polar bears all down the beach. And yes, they’re the most aggressive — but God they’re so cuddly.”

“They’re beautiful. Yeah, and [in] those Coca-Cola commercials, they’re like, ‘Snuggle,’” Clarkson, 41, jokingly chimed in, while wrapping her arms in an air hug. “Yeah, but they will eat you,” Buble told the host.

Buble still couldn't forget the event

The 'Everything' singer said that he still could not get over the fact that the whole thing had happened, and he had come that close to death. “Sometimes I wonder about that, how close I was to being like a little polar bear lunch," he laughed.

Clarkson added, “Who would've thought there were just polar bears — nobody ever hears that. ‘Oh, there’s polar bears hanging on the beach.’ It just doesn’t happen."

A look into Buble's domestic life

The singer provided an insight into domestic life back in November last year with wife, Luisana Lopilato, with whom he shares sons Noah, 10, and Elias, 8 this month, and daughters Vida, 5, and Cielo, 16 months.

The star admitted his wife takes charge in the kitchen, revealing, “Mommy’s the cook, [the kids] want mommy’s food,” Buble said.

“In the kitchen, she has this thing where she tells me to get out,” he said about trying to assist with food duties, joking that she does the same thing “in the bedroom, too, sometimes.”
