LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Michelle Obama is not shying away from making direct statements about her and Barack’s marriage and the rumored issues between them.

During her appearance on the Thursday, May 1, episode of Steven Bartlett's ‘The Diary of a CEO’ podcast, the former first lady also issued a subtle warning to her husband of over three decades as she said, “If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

Michelle Obama insists she and Barack Obama would never quit on each other

“The beauty of my husband and our partnership is that neither one of us was ever really, ever going to quit at it, because that's not who we are. And I know that about him. He knows that about me,” the 61-year-old said.

She continued, “I talk about these things because I think that people give up too quickly on marriage.

“Because there is so much friction built into the equation. And if you're not getting help, talking about it, going to therapy, just understanding how things are changing, and how you continuously renegotiate your relationship with your partner, I just see people quitting,” Michelle expressed.

“Because they look at me and Barack and go, '#couple goals.' And I'm like, it's hard,” the former first lady added.

Tucker Carlson claims Michelle Obama ‘really dislikes’ Barack Obama

The Thursday episode of the ‘The Diary of a CEO’ podcast came after Tucker Carlson made explosive claims about the Obamas' marriage on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’.

He claimed that Michelle “really dislikes her husband and it's super obvious.”

“I'm not just saying that to be catty... I think I'm trying to feel compassion for her but her hostility toward the guy is unbelievable,” the conservative commentator added.

Agreeing with Carlson, Kelly stated, “I almost never say negative things about Doug,” making a reference to her husband Douglas Brunt.

She further said, “He's not perfect but when I think about him, I don't immediately go to whatever is negative. I go to what's positive and what I love about him.”
