LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mindy Kaling has shared a touching moment from her daughter Anne’s first birthday, posting a rare photo of her youngest child on Instagram.
'The Never Have I Ever' creator is known for keeping her family life private, but she made an exception on Monday, February 24, as she marked the milestone.

In the Instagram Stories, Mindy Kaling's daughter Anne is seen holding a stuffed lion plushy with two balloons in the background.
The toddler looks away from the camera, and Kaling added a celebratory “Happy Birthday” sticker to the image, making the occasion extra special.
Kaling, a mother of three, has never publicly revealed the father of her children. Along with Anne, she shares a daughter Katherine, 7, and son Spencer, 4.
In a candid interview with WSJ Magazine in February 2024, Kaling opened up about how motherhood has shifted her outlook on life.

"It's really rewarding, being a mom and spending time with these two people who look like me," she said.
"I love them, and they're so funny. In terms of my career, I'm a single mom, I'm the breadwinner in the house," the actress added.
She also acknowledged the responsibility that comes with raising children as a solo parent.
"There's a lot of panic that comes with that—the buck stops with me. I have to earn money for them. Having kids is everything—wanting to be a good role model and wanting to produce content that doesn't embarrass them and makes them proud," Kaling shared.

When Kaling received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this month, she made sure to acknowledge his significant role in her family’s life.
She called him an "important and integral part of my family," according to People.
Novak, speaking at the ceremony, praised Kaling’s dedication as a mother.
"Mindy respects and understands [fame] in a very intuitive way because in addition to being a brilliant and wildly successful showrunner, an incredible mother of three, a deep and caring daughter and friend and mentor to so many," he shared.
"You'd be on the walk of talent if they had one. You'd be on the walk of friendship. You'd be on the walk of compassionate parenthood," Novak added.
