Miranda Lambert has a 'sense of urgency' to become a mom
The insider added, “She really does want to experience the joys that come from motherhood, but now she has more of a sense of urgency,” as reported by OK Magazine.
The insider added, “Brendan always says it’s Miranda’s call. But he’s happy that turning 40 helped Miranda see the light. They’re actively trying for a baby now and desperate to beat the clock!”
The ex-NYPD officer and his former girlfriend Kaihla Rettinger have a son named Landon together. The blonde beauty has grown accustomed to spending time with her husband's toddler over the years.
Miranda speaks about his stepson
Miranda said to Extra in 2019, "My stepson is amazing. I’m loving that whole phase ... It's great practice but I still get to go into rock and roll mode, which I really enjoy."
She told the news outlet in a different interview, "We have the best of both worlds. We spend time in New York, we get to see our adorable nugget, then we get to come back to the farm and have the quiet life. I'm enjoying the balance."
Despite Lambert's past marriage to Blake Shelton, McLoughlin appears to be ultimately a better match for her.
Lambert reveals 'secret sauce' of marriage
Lambert said of what makes their marriage work, "Everybody’s still trying to figure that out, I think. Communication and laughing together, I think, is the secret, secret sauce."
In 2018, the couple met on 'Good Morning America' and fell in love right away. They tied the knot a few months later.
The insider said about the couple, “It’s nice being able to have some privacy and not have every detail about their relationship scrutinized."
They added, "They complement each other on every level and Miranda feels like she finally found her soulmate."
