LINDALE, TEXAS: Country Music star Miranda Lambert donated $250,000 through her MuttNation foundation to support 32 animal shelters and organizations across the states ravaged by the hurricanes Milton and Helene, reported WhiskeyRiff on Monday, November 4.

The hurricanes had left states such as North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia devastated at the end of September through early October. Lambert had previously donated over $100,000 to aid the relief efforts following Helene.

The historic floods saw many country stars step up to help, including Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, and Luke Combs. The 'Concert for Carolina' hosted days ago by Church and Combs saw many of them band together to raise over $24.5 million.

Miranda Lambert's 'Music for Mutts' concert

The 'Music for Mutts' concert organized by Miranda Lambert took place between Helene and Milton, and Lambert said it felt appropriate to use the event to raise money for relief efforts.

"Helene hit the week before our Music for Mutts benefit concert, and it only seemed right to use the event to help with hurricane recovery efforts. Then Milton came right behind it – packing a devastating one-two punch," she shared.

"Thankfully, and thanks to all the animal-loving supporters who’ve made donations to our MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief for Rescues Fund, we were able to quickly get help where it was needed most."

"We know this will be a very long recovery and we’re committed to helping our four-legged friends and the people who care for them get back on their feet,” added Lambert.

The entirety of the amount raised is donated to the MuttNation Tractor Supply Relief for Rescues fund, which is then distributed among those in need following the hurricanes.

Kimberley Gardiner, chief marketing officer at Tractor Supply, shared, "Caring for animals and our communities is central to Life Out Here, and we’re passionate about giving back, especially during times like these. As the region recovers from these hurricanes, we’re honored to lend a helping hand to shelters that have been impacted.”
