Molly Kearney announces exit from 'SNL' after 2 seasons, says time spent on show was 'dream come true'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Saturday Night Live’s cast member Molly Kearney has announced her exit from the show after two years.
The comedian, who joined the satire show in 2022 will be following fellow Punkie Johnson and won’t feature in landmark season 50.

Molly Kearney made the announcement over Instagram. “Yall that’s a wrap on my time on 'SNL'! Reflecting on the amazing 2 seasons I got on this show, it was such a dream come true,” she captioned while sharing multiple photos with fellow cast members.
“So incredibly grateful for this period in my life. So much love to all my big hearted buddies behind the scenes who make the magic happen every week. So many bald caps, so little time,” she added.

Kearney was the first non-binary cast member who joined the fold after several experienced members quit 'SNL' including Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Melissa Villaseñor.
Johnson took to her Instagram to announce her departure from the show on Thursday, August 1 in a clip.
“I just want to let you know after four seasons, I will not be returning to 'SNL' for the 50th,” Johnson began in her video post addressing fans.
