Mom of Dave Grohl's love child revealed as tattooed music buff months after he admits to cheating on wife
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Los Angeles based rock 'n' roll fan named Jennifer Young has reportedly been identified as the mother of Dave Grohl's secret love child.
The Florida-born woman, whose body is tattooed with Paul McCartney lyrics and the Metallica logo, gave birth to the Foo Fighters frontman’s fourth child on August 1, 2024, as reported by The New York Post.

Though Young, 38, declined to reveal the name of the baby girl, the media outlet confirmed that she shares Grohl’s last name.

As per the 56-year-old’s baby mama, “Protecting her [baby] identity is really important because there’s some really angry fans.”
The 38-year-old woman also just said “I can’t comment”, when asked whether Grohl’s an active father in the child’s life.
The Post reported that Young is living in a modest house with her mother as she raises her baby girl.
She was seen out in Los Angeles while taking her baby for a stroll. The child’s face was not visible as she wore a helmet with stickers of Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, and Keanu Reeves.
It has also been said that Young, who does not seem to have a public social media account, was in New York City during the time of Valentine's Day. It was during the same time when Grohl also visited the city for the ‘SNL50: The Anniversary Special’.
However, it’s not confirmed if they met.
Dave Grohl shared about his secret love child last year
This came five months after the guitarist shocked the world by confessing on Instagram that he fathered a child outside his marriage.
Grohl has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003 and shares three daughters — Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10, with her.

In September, he wrote, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” he added.
A month later, a source shared with PEOPLE that Grohl’s revelation has “been rough for” Blum.
“Her mind is not on her marriage though. She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring,” they added at the time.
Jennifer Young described as a ‘girl in high school who was quiet’
Meanwhile, The Post spoke with Young’s former high school classmate Chris Succi, who said, “She was that girl in high school who was quiet, very pleasant, but not one of those who stood out.”
“I feel like she was more into Gwen Stefani than Foo Fighters. I can think of like 20 other girls who were more likely to have Dave Grohl’s baby,” Succi added.
