LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Morgan Stewart has faced criticism after posting an emotional TikTok video on Thursday, January 9, where she discussed the "horrific" Los Angeles fires while standing in front of a wall adorned with Birkin bags.

Although she and her family are safe, Stewart acknowledged at the beginning of the video that it was "unfathomable" because thousands of others "lost everything."

The singer taped the reel while sitting close to an array of expensive Birkin bags, which some fans swiftly pointed out in the comment area, with one social media user calling the scenario "horrendous."

The 'Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills' alum, 35, used social media to express her thoughts about the terrible flames that have ravaged the city and forced over 200,000 people to evacuate, per the New York Post.

With her expensive bags on show, Stewart remarked, "I did not think this was going to be my return to TikTok video." She added that she had a fun concept for her first 2025 TikTok video before the horrifying infernos began on Tuesday, January 7.

She shared: "And obviously, with what has unfolded over the last two days is just the most horrific thing I have ever experienced. And I’m not one to get emotional online. And I’m luckily safe, my family safe."

The 'Nightly Pop' star continued with teary eyes, "We were on evacuation notice last night, but people that have lost everything … horrific. Truly horrific."

"The way the city is just like burnt to the ground after, like, what has been like such an awful time post-COVID anyway, like, things have not been the same," Stewart explained.

She added: "All these people are going to move away again and it’s just it’s unfathomable. And the fact that, yeah, people don’t have anything."

"They don’t have their home, they don’t have the clothes, they don’t have their memories, they don’t have their jewelry. They don’t have anything that," the former 'Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills' star said.

Stewart tied the knot to Jordan McGraw, Dr Phil’s 38-year-old son, in 2020. The couple has a 3-year-old daughter named Row Renggli and a 2-year-old son named Grey Oliver.

Frazzled Stewart went on to reflect on her own evacuation order, saying, "I had to, like, pack a bag last night because we were on an evacuation notice. I don’t even know if I said that because I’m so brain dead."

Stewart concluded her video by saying, "And I was like, ‘What am I bringing? And I was like, leggings and notes my dad gave me and, like, jewelry.’ I was like, ‘The rest of it can burn to the ground,’ really. Awful. Truly awful. So bad."

Morgan posted a number of pictures to her Instagram stories on Friday, January 10, to announce that she was volunteering for the nonprofit group Baby2Baby, per Daily Mail.

She posted a picture of a basket full of stuff along with the caption, "Currently packing fire relief kits with @baby2baby who play nooo games."

The mother of two also shared a picture of a big blackboard with names of people who were volunteering to aid the victims of the Los Angeles fires.

Morgan Stewart slammed for 'horrendous' Birkins background choice for emotional video

Despite Morgan Stewart's obvious intention, trolls criticized her on TikTok for the Birkin display, arguing that she should have exercised more caution considering how many people lost everything in the Palisades and Eaton fires.

One person commented, "Horrendous choice for background. So relatable," while another added, "As you sit in front of countless Birkins… I feel your pain."

Another added, "Girl Please, you really had to put that in the background."

"I love you but for the love of God the background is sending me," chimed in a user.

One follower wrote, "The background...really," and another TikTok user posted, "Omg the background really?"

"I didn’t hear anything after laser and then noticed your wealth wall behind you," another snarked.

"I love you!" typed her husband Jordan McGraw, while another fan responded, "I love you but for the love of God the background is sending me," per the Mail.

"I'm so distracted by the birkins," one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, "This is still up!!?!"

"At least your bags are safe," said another, while "I didn't hear anything after laser and then I noticed your wealth wall behind you."
