Roisin Waters' emotional tribute to Sinead O’Connor
Roisin Waters, according to the videos and the outlet, appeared barefoot on the stage and crowd couldn't help but applaud her emotional performance.
Various artists performed at the tribute concert, honoring both Sinead O'Connor and The Pogues' late frontman Shane McGowan who passed away last year.
Among the performers were Bettye LaVette with 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got,' and Cat Power who delivered a rendition of The Pogues' 'The Body of an American.'
Sinead died in July at the age of 56 due to natural causes, as stated by the Southwark Coroner's Court in London.
Her funeral took place in August 2023 in her native Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.
