Despite the "moment" being a "hard one", Drescher said, "Life has taught me we do climb out of the pit of despair and continue living, loving & laughing again but baring the new and recent scars of profound pain."

Fran Drescher said her father Morty was a great man who honored everyone equally

In her earlier post, Drescher described, feeling "untenable how permanent the loss of this great man is," despite he being 94.5.

Morty leaves behind his wife Sylvia to whom he was married for 71 wonderful years and his two adoring daughters, Nadine and Fran.

“His values were always in the right place. He honored and respected everyone equally. He understood the important things in this life, love of family, simple pleasures, and living in gratitude,” she added.
