LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Nancy Sinatra is not at all happy with President Donald Trump. She didn’t stay quiet after Trump posted a clip of her father, actor and singer Frank Sinatra, singing 'My Way' on Truth Social without any explanation.

Reacting on X (formerly Twitter), the 85-year-old called the move “a sacrilege,” making it clear she wasn’t pleased with how the iconic performance was used. She also shifted the focus to something more personal, saying her father would not have supported Trump, adding that his values didn’t align with the president’s.

Nancy calls out Trump over Frank Sinatra clip

The video shows Frank Sinatra singing one of his most famous lines about life coming to an end. Trump did not add any caption or context to the 3:50-minute monochrome clip of the legendary singer.

The post quickly sparked a flood of reactions online, as people tried to make sense of it.

Some even connected it to ongoing talk about his health, though there is no confirmation. The lyrics in the clip go: “And now, the end is near / And so I face the final curtain... Regrets, I’ve had a few / But then again, too few to mention... I did it my way.”

Nancy was clearly upset but also realistic. When a fan asked if the video could be taken down, she said there is not much she can do.

She explained that only the publishers have the authority to remove it. She also agreed with fans who said her father would not have supported Trump’s politics. Nancy made it clear this is not a new view and said Frank’s beliefs did not align with his.

Nancy Sinatra reiterates Frank Sinatra’s stance on Trump

Nancy has been consistent about one thing: her father, Frank, did not like Trump. In 2025, the topic came up after Trump mentioned Sinatra in a speech and suggested adding him to a monument for American heroes.

Mia Farrow, who was once married to Frank, shared that he would have strongly disliked Trump. Nancy replied and confirmed it, saying her father truly felt that way, as per The Independent.

She had said something similar years earlier. In 2017, when reports claimed 'My Way' could be played at Trump’s inauguration, Nancy responded by pointing to the first line of the song, which talks about the end being near.

Later, she softened her tone and said she wishes any president does well, because no one aims to be a bad leader.
