LONDON, ENGLAND: Naomi Campbell is currently single and focused on her children, despite the romance rumor with her businessman pal Mohammed Al Turki, claims her friends.

Though the supermodel has appeared with Al Turki (his friends call him Mo’) at various events, an insider claimed there is no romance brewing between Campbell, 53, and the boss of the Red Sea Festival.

Insiders comment on Naomi Campbell’s relationship status

A prospective romance between Campbell and Al Turki was widely speculated when the businessman accompanied the London-born-supermodel to the BAFTAs in England in February. They were even seen holding hands

However, friends of the mother-of-two are now quashing any suggestion of a prospective romance between the duo, saying that Campbell is single and enjoying her parenthood.

Despite the supermodel rocking a massive diamond ring at the BAFTA night, a friend close to her, recently shared with Daily Mail that 'It isn’t a romance'.

They revealed that Al Turki is rather dating another model and is in a steady relationship with them.

The insider said, “All her friends know that he is actually in love with another model and in a settled relationship with them.”

“Naomi is single and focuses on her children and her sobriety,” added the source.

The supermodel welcomed a daughter and a son in 2021 and 2023 respectively. It is widely believed she welcomed her children through surrogates.

In 2021, she announced the birth of her daughter by sharing an adorable picture of her baby’s feet accompanied by a heartfelt note.

She wrote in the caption,  “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.”

She continued, “So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

She also shared with Vogue magazine, “I always knew one day I would be a mother, but it's the biggest joy I could ever imagine.”

In 2023, she announced the arrival of her son.

Al Turki accompanied Campbell during her birthday bash last year, where the businessman sat beside her in the evening.

Though Campbell had a string of high-profile relationships over the past, she has never been married. She had dated some of the most notable celebrities including Robert De Niro, Gerard Butler, Terrence Howard, Mike Tyson, Diddy, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.

Previously she was engaged to U2 bassist Adam Clayton in 1993, and later to Italian businessman Flavio Briatore before their split in 2002.

Naomi Campbell opened up about sacrificing her relationships

In a 2021 interview with New York magazine’s The Cut via Vanity Fair, Campbell shared that her professional growth came at the expense of her personal life.

She shared, “I’d say the sacrifice is really finding that soulmate who will understand you.”

The British model explained, “It’s really like you feel if they look at you as if you’re strong…you know, I’m strong, but I’m also sensitive. I know that in relationships I have to compromise.”

Despite having a series of high-profile romances, Campbell does not regret them. Rather she opines that those relationships helped her evolve as a person,

Campbell shared, “I don’t have a problem looking at myself in the mirror anymore and facing and owning who I am,” before adding, “And for sure when I was younger, I wasn’t always using it in the right way. It takes growth.”

She also spoke about the importance of some of the long friendships in her life, saying, “I’ve had extremely long friendships that are still very present in my life to this day—30, 33, 35 years on. I’m grateful for those people in my life. They know me better than anyone.”
