LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessica Pettway, a prominent beauty influencer died on March 11 at the age of 36 after bravely battling stage three cancer.
The death of the YouTuber, known for her beauty, fashion, and lifestyle content was confirmed by her sister Reyni Brown, according to E! News.

Brown took to Instagram on March 15 to pay an emotional tribute to Pettway as she posted a picture of herself and her influencer sister.
"It's my birthday today, and the only thing I could ever wish for is for God to bring you back on this earth," Brown wrote in the caption.
"I lost my beautiful big sister 2 days ago and my heart has never felt pain like this," she said.
She then described Pettway as "the most amazing, strong, confident" woman she had ever met and shared that her sister filled her life "with so much wisdom, prayed for me, and helped me become a better mother."
"Life will never be the same without her crazy laugh, pranks, or jokes. Loosing [sic] a sibling feels like a connection between us was destroyed. I love you with all my heart," she added.

Inside Jessica Pettway's cancer misdiagnosis
Pettway who has over 16 million views on YouTube revealed her struggle with stage three cervical cancer in July 2023.
Initially, her condition was misdiagnosed as fibroids, which according to Mayo Clinic are non-cancerous tumors that grow in the uterus.
In February 2023, she was correctly diagnosed with cancer.
In an Instagram post at the time, Pettway said, "Being told I have cancer didn't devastate me," adding, "It was the reaction of those close to me. I knew that God is my healer and that no weapon formed against me, not even cancer, would prosper."
"I knew that I am more than a conqueror and that I will get through this," she added.
Pettway who is survived by her husband and daughters Kailee, ten, and Zoi Lee, three, had been a familiar face on YouTube for ten years.
