LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office has escalated a digital war of words with President Donald Trump by releasing a provocative, satirical AI-generated image of the President and his administrative officials.

The social media post, which labels the President as "DEMENTIA DON," comes following an AI-generated troll by Trump that depicted Joe Biden and Barack Obama asleep in a similar Oval Office setting.

Gavin Newsom mocks Trump administration with detailed AI satire

Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office on Thursday, May 7, shared an AI-generated image of President Donald Trump asleep at the Resolute Desk, captioned "DEMENTIA DON !!!!"

The satirical depiction features President Trump, sleeping, surrounded by details designed to mock his administration.

The image features stacks of black binders labeled "Epstein Files," and is cluttered with fast food, a Diet Coke, and a medicine bottle carried by Secretary of State Marco Rubio to mock Trump Rx.

Standing behind Trump are figures resembling Marco Rubio and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, both appearing to oversee a chaotic scene.

Furthermore, the AI also depicts FBI Director Kash Patel slumped over the desk, appearing exhausted next to a bottle of alcohol, a clear jab at recent media allegations involving the Director and "personalized bourbon" gifts.

Gavin Newsom’s aggressive social media attacks on the president

Just hours before releasing the "Dementia Don" image, Newsom’s office launched several other aggressive jabs against President Trump’s mental fitness.

The Governor’s press account shared a clip of President Trump discussing the difference between the words "see" and "sea," adding the caption, “Time for another cognitive test for grandpa.”

Newsom followed this up with a more personal attack, claiming that “'LITTLE D’S' BRAIN IS DECLINING RAPIDLY IN REAL TIME" and alleging that "HIS HANDLERS ARE TERRIFIED AND DESPERATELY TRYING TO HIDE IT FROM THE PUBLIC."

These recent posts highlight a growing pattern of Newsom challenging the President to a "COGNITIVE TEST ON LIVE NATIONAL TELEVISION," mockingly pointing out that "LITTLE D" has been noticeably absent from press interactions since the challenge was issued.

Retaliatory post after ‘Sleepy Joe’ AI imagery

The exchange follows a post by President Donald Trump on Thursday, May 7, when he shared his own AI-generated image on Truth Social, targeting Joe Biden.

In an identical Resolute Desk setting, Trump’s post depicted a sleeping Biden alongside Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Captioned as a “highly accurate depiction of the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration,” the image featured Obama holding a box labeled “AUTOPEN.”

This was a direct reference to Trump’s criticisms regarding the legitimacy of Biden’s executive actions, specifically the use of an autopen by aides to sign official documents.

Trump used the post to argue that Biden’s administration had caused "tremendous damage" while stating, "WE’RE BACK!!!", setting the stage for Newsom’s retaliation just hours later.
