LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion has reached a new height as the former brought up the latter's mother, who died in 2019.

As Minaj perceived Megan’s latest track, 'HISS', as a purported attack on her husband, Kenneth Perry, the 'Barbie World' singer took to her social media accounts to share several fiery rants against the 'Cry Baby' artist.

Minaj and Stallion, who previously collaborated on the 2019 track 'Hot Girl Summer', seemed to have a cordial relationship till the 'Cobra' singer released her new track 'Hiss' on January 26.

Subsequently, Minaj fired at her former collaborator on an Instagram live video, sharing verses from what appeared to be a diss track. She not only told Megan to "conjure up" her mother and apologize but also made light of the incident in which Tory Lanez shot Stallion in the foot in 2020.

The 'Bang Bang' songstress sang, "You let just everyone be thrown under the bus. You let Da Baby be thrown under the bus, Tory (Lanez), your best friend, your mom."

She continued, "You better go conjure up your mother and say... and apologize," as per Daily Mail.

Stallion's mother, Holly Thomas, died in March 2019 after battling a cancerous brain tumor.

Lyrics of Megan Thee Stallion's 'HISS' apparently allude to Nicki Minaj's husband

Minaj's aversion to 'HISS' seems to be stemming from the song's lyrics, "These hoes don't be mad at Megan/these hoes mad at Megan's Law."

Notably, Megan Law refers to a federal law that requires law enforcement authorities to share information about registered sex offenders with the public.

As per Minaj and her fans, the lines allude to the rapper's husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender who was previously convicted of attempted rape charges and spent four years in prison.

He was also sentenced to probation and house arrest after he failed to register as a sex offender in California, as per USA Today

Fans also speculated the track may have referred to Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted for the rape of his 11-year-old stepdaughter and was booked for predatory sexual assault in 2017.

Maraj was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in January 2020, after his appeal in 2018 failed.

Minaj further verbally attacked Megan by posting a rant on X (formerly Twitter) where she said, "Y’all wanna bring up family members???!! And lying on your dead mother?!?!! Lied to Gayle. Lied on & F**KED your best friend man?!!!!!"

She continued, "Told me to drink & go to the clinic if I was pregnant. All b/c I wouldn’t let your funky b*** pour liquor down my throat? B**h think she a bully cuz she get a Roc Nation brunch every year."

"Be mad @ PARDI!!!!!!!!!! He told all your tea but u taking shots at my family? Bwahahhhahahaaaaaaa get up on yo good foot!!!!!! #PinkFriday2 PLATINUM go apologize to your mother nasty serpant! REPENT!!!!" concluded the 'Barbie World' singer.
